About
The Indonesian Society for Lactic Acid Bacteria (ISLAB) was established on March 12th 2003 and then in 2015 became The Indonesian Society for Lactic Acid Bacteria and Gut Microbiota (ISLAB-GM). Currently, approximately 200 Indonesian scientists are registered as the member of ISLAB-GM and have been actively conducting many researches in this area. The society serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and know-how between Indonesian researchers and companies
